Within the framework of our core yarn product range, you can choose between products with a hard core, which exhibit an extraordinarily high strength or products with a soft core, which beyond that offer additional properties such as elasticity. Lauffenmühle has extensive experience in producing elastic yarns - this comprises the processing of fibres such as among others spandex but also the processing of XLA by Dow with the advantage of the high mechanical durability of the product manufactured out of it. As XLA by Dow is made of polyolefin, it is extremely resistant to heat and chemicals and furthermore to UV-light.
